One male has died following a motorcycle collision in Ajax.
Durham Regional Police responded to collision involving a motorcycle and motor vehicle in the area of Harwood Avenue North and Kerrison Drive East on Thursday afternoon around 3:45 p.m.
A grey/silver Honda motorcycle was travelling south on Harwood Avenue North approaching Kerrison Drive East. A black Chevrolet Malibu was travelling north on Harwood Avenue North and turned left into the path of the motorcycle.
The 34-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the Malibu remained on scene and is cooperating with police. There were no other injuries.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
