A Belleville man has been charged after the theft of a motorcycle.
Belleville police attended a business on Moira Street East on Wednesday at around 12:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a theft.
Staff reported to police that they spotted a male enter the business property and attempt to steal a motorcycle belonging to an employee.
The suspect began moving the motorcycle, however, he was confronted by an employee.
Police say the male then dropped the motorcycle and fled the scene.
Shortly after, police received a separate call in the area reporting a male attempting to enter vehicles and backyards.
As a result of investigation, Trevor Wynn, a 43-year-old Belleville man was located, arrested and charged with: theft of motor vehicle.
He was released on an undertaking with a scheduled court date in September.
