It’s Father’s Day and it’s summertime.
The official astronomical start of summer happened at around 4:30 Sunday morning.
June 21 marks the summer solstice for this year and will feature the most daylight of the year at around 15 hours.
The astronomical beginning of winter or the winter solstice will be December 21.
On that day there will be less than nine hours of daylight.
