Caribbean Festival back for fifth year

Belleville is gearing up to celebrate its fifth annual Caribbean Festival, bringing vibrant music, food, and culture to the Bay of Quinte region.

Last year’s three-day celebration drew over 10,000 attendees and generated more than $1.1 million for local businesses and hotels.

While the signature event continues to grow, organizers face ongoing challenges due to limited funding.

Community support and sponsorship are urgently needed to ensure this massive free family celebration can keep running.

The BCFC is still accepting sponsorship and monetary donations, which can be e-transferred to –bellevillecaribbeanafricanorg@gmail.com.

November 2025 the BCFC raised funds, collected food and supplies for Jamaica Hurricane Melissa relief which were hand delivered.

This year over 500 pounds of food have been donated to Gleaners Food Bank on behalf of the BCFC.

Each year the festival provides over 30 local artists and performers with the opportunity to showcase their talents.

Supports Downtown Belleville businesses through increased visitor traffic of over 10,000 people of which 3,500 were out of town guests (TREIM 2025 data) increasing vendor opportunities and tourism spending.
