An intoxicated man charged with trespassing after apparently trying to sleep it off in the wrong end of town.
Thursday night, an east end Belleville resident returned home to find an unknown shirtless male lying on her front porch.
The resident did not feel safe attempting to get by the male chose to remain in her vehicle until police arrived.
Officers determined the male was under the influence of alcohol and lived in the west end of the city.
A 30-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged under the Trespass to Property Act.
He was held by police until sober.
