Proposed construction activity in Prince Edward County in May was much the same as it was in May of last year.
Last month 50 building permits were issued with a value of $9.2 million. The largest permit was for a $1.2 million dollar single family dwelling on County Road 13.
In May of 2025 54 permits were issued with a construction value of $9.7 million.
For the year-to-date projects valued at $47.2 million have been approved.
In the first 5 months of last year permits were issued valued at almost $46 million.
