Loyalist College is marking a major milestone in local healthcare education Tuesday.
The college will officially open its new Medical Radiation Technology lab.
The state-of-the-art facility is designed to replicate real-world clinical environments, giving students the hands-on experience they need to excel in diagnostic imaging.
Officials with numerous local health agencies and hospitals will be on hand for the ribbon cutting, taking place around 10:30 a.m.
Those in Medical Radiation Technology utilize equipment such as x-ray machines, CT and MRI scanners, ultrasounds, and other equipment.
