A Belleville man has been charged in connection with a theft from a Dundas Street East business earlier this month.
On May 12, Belleville police received a report that a male entered the store and left with a cart full of items without making any attempt to pay.
Officers identified a suspect and on Tuesday evening arrested the 65-year-old man.
Wayne Shanks is charged with:
· Failure to comply with a release order
· Theft under $5000
He was released on an undertaking with a scheduled court date in August.
