Belleville police have charged a man following an investigation by the Internet Child Exploitation unit.
Police arrested the suspect on Friday in connection with an ongoing investigation.
Paul O’Brien, a 45-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material, making child sexual abuse and exploitation material, transmitting child sexual abuse and exploitation material, careless storage of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon.
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
