Quinte West OPP have arrested and charged a man in connection with a child sexual exploitation investigation.
The Quinte West OPP Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Trenton on Wednesday.
Assistance was provided by members of the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the OPP Digital Forensics Unit.
Police say that several electronic devices were seized.
As a result of the investigation, 30-year-old Kyle Peirson of Trenton, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offence:
- Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
