Parks Canada says it continues to work diligently toward reopening the entire Trent Severn Waterway, anticipating a full opening on Friday, May 29, subject to weather systems and precipitation events.
Most locks are open with the exception of the last few locks in the Georgian Bay area.
Officials say they are maximizing water flows where possible to move toward seasonal averages.
Parks Canada reminds boaters, paddlers, and swimmers that certain areas continue to have higher-than-average flows and people should exercise caution.
Floating debris may be present, and navigation aids may be off station.
Waterways between or adjacent to closed lockstations should be considered unsafe for navigation.
LOCK STATION Status as of May 21, 2026

All lockstations will remain open to land-based visitation.
