Belleville’s Fire Chief and one of the City’s firefighters are being honoured by the Ontario Municipal Fire Prevention Officers Association.
Chief Ray Chaput has been selected by the association as the “Fire Chief of the Year”… and was chosen because of his significant contribution to the prevention of fire and public education of life safety in the community.
Meanwhile… Firefighter Carson Cross was nominated and has been selected as the Jim Copeland Award winner.
Both men will receive their awards at the O-M-F-P-O-A Conference in Richmond Hill on June 17th.
