Belleville Fire crews have been on the scene of a fire this morning on Bridge Street.
There are few details but fire could be seen on the second floor of 94 Bridge Street East, a brick residential building.
Police and paramedics also on the scene.
There is no word on injuries.
Bridge Street East remains closed between George Street and Church Street, and John Street is closed between Queen Street and Bridge Street East.
Numerous emergency vehicles and personnel remain in the area.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and plan alternate routes.
