There’s good news from a Belleville daycare provider.
Little Rascals Child Care was planning to move to a new location at the former Nortel building on Sidney Street but learned late last year the area was not zoned for a daycare and would need a costly site condition study.
But Wednesday, the director of Community and Human Services for Hastings County Jamie Lynne Osmond had an update.
“I do want to advise that since writing the report, Little Rascals has found a new location. But unfortunately the new location announcement is embargoed. I hope to provide the new location at an update at the next committee (meeting) in February.”
Little Rascals Child Care can provide services for up to 115 children and Hastings County will provide relocation support through 2026.
