The Trenton Golden Hawks scored all four of their goals in the third period to beat the Markham Royals in a rare Tuesday matinee game, 4-3.
Kale Mace got the scoring going in the third with his eighth goal of the season with a power play goal from Candon O’Neill helping to tie the game.
From there, Joshua Penny scored two goals to help the Golden Hawks come back against the Royals, after being down 2-0 heading into the third.
Students and teachers from around the area were in attendance for the school-day game.
Hayden Jeffery made 29 saves on 32 shots in the victory.
The Golden Hawks stay in town for a Friday night matchup, welcoming the Haliburton County Huskies to the Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens.
