Prince Edward County is moving forward with the final steps in the budget process.
During Tuesday’s upcoming council meeting, Mayor Steve Ferguson is set to present the final draft budget to council.
Council has also proposed to shorten the veto period for the new budget to just one day, effectively adopting the budget as presented.
The budget was previously debated by council during an extended period of meetings in December, leading to a 3.6% tax levy increase.
