The Belleville Senators defeated the Toronto Marlies 6-3 in their final regular season game.
Philippe Daoust, Stephen Halliday, Hayden Hodgson, Olle Lycksell, and Arthur Kaliyev scored for the Senators.
The Senators opened scoring after 10 minutes of play. The Marlies quickly came back with a first goal of their own, but the Sens scored again to take a slim lead into the second period. In the second, the Marlies evened the score with an early goal before the Sens scored again to retake their lead. In the third, the Senators scored three goals to extend their lead and win the game, while the Marlies only scored once more.
The Senators are back in action on Sunday, hosting the Rochester Americans at 3 p.m. at CAA Arena.
