It was a little colder and a little snowier last month compared to the usual Decembers in the Quinte region.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, 49 centimetres of snow fell in December, more than the historical average of 37 cm.
There were 46 millimetres of rainfall last month, less than the normal 50 mm.
As far as temperatures were concerned, the average high in December was zero while the historical average is 1 degree.
The average low was minus 10, colder than the usual minus 8.
