Belleville Fire remains on the scene of a residential house fire in the city.
Firefighters arrived on the scene on Edward Street just after 8 a.m.
The fire was localized to the kitchen of the home and firefighters used a device called a “fire bomb” to quickly smother the flames with powder.
No injuries have been reported. Investigators are on scene. The exact cause of the fire is not yet known.
