It is New Year’s Day and as we look ahead at 2026 the mayor of Stirling-Rawdon Bob Mullin tells Quinte News that some major infrastructure work will be completed this year.
It will involve replacing bridges.
“They’ve been a priority for years but we were finally able to make the move last year with the pricing.”
The bridges will be on Green, Bedford, and Wellman’s roads.
Mullin says more infrastructure work could be announced depending on if the municipality’s grant applications to the federal and provincial governments are approved.
