Traffic was slow going on Highway 7 at Marmora early Sunday evening after a vehicle hit a pedestrian.
OPP closed the highway to tractor-trailers for a short while to deal with the incident.
Police say the pedestrian suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
