The Rochester Americans edged the Belleville Senators 3-2 in overtime.

The Americans opened scoring late in the first period, with an unanswered goal. The Senators came back in the second to score an unanswered goal for themselves, taking a 1-1 tie into the third. In the third period, both teams scored, sending the game to overtime where the Americans scored first to win the game.
The Senators are on the road on Saturday facing the Toronto Marlies.
