Nexans has announced it has completed the purchase of the Quinte West-based company, Electro Cables.
According to Nexans, the acquisition fully aligns with its strategy to focus on electrification, strengthen their portfolio in Canada and reinforce the company’s presence in a fast-growing market.
Nexans is a global company in the cable and optic fibre industry that focuses on designing and manufacturing advanced cable systems and electrification solutions.
Electro Cables manufactures a range of electrical and electronic cable products, with its headquarters based in Trenton.
There are 200 employees and there is no indication to suggest that any job losses are anticipated at this time.
