A domestic incident in Belleville has led to multiple charges.
On Wednesday evening just before 7 p.m., officers were called to the west end, after reports a man struck a woman while walking outside a house.
A 29-year-old city man was located, arrested, and charged with assault.
After being given orders to not communicate with the victim, he is said to have returned early Thursday morning and breached conditions.
He was was charged with two counts of breach of an undertaking.
