A Belleville man has been arrested after police received a report of a man in breach of his probation order.
Belleville police attended a home in the city’s west end around 4:13 p.m. on Tuesday on a report that a male was in breach of his probation order by attending a female’s residence.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to both parties and confirmed the male was bound by conditions to not communicate with the female.
As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
