2025 could be called a “bridge” year in Stirling-Rawdon.
Mayor Bob Mullin outlined some of council’s accomplishments this year.
“On the infrastructure side we bought three bridges and managed to get one of them installed, which is something Stirling hasn’t done for years.
We’ll get the other two installed next year.”
The bridges will be placed on Wellmans, Bedford, and Green Roads.
Reorganizing municipal administration also kept council and staff busy this year in Stirling-Rawdon.
Mayor Bob Mullin says hiring CAO Shelley Stedall and changing job descriptions was an important move.
“A big one was staffing. We have a new CAO that’s very experienced and I think that in the long run is going to be a real improvement over what we’ve
had in the past. I think the idea that you can have CAO-treasurers just doesn’t work anymore.”
Mullin says the hiring of new clerk Becky O’Hara rounded out the township’s modernized administration staff.
