Quinte West Council will discuss which days and events to make special note of throughout the year at its meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee has suggested a list of “Proclamation Notable Dates” for 2026.
The list contains 41 options for proclamations.
Included, along with well known events such as Pride Month and International Women’s Day, are the International Day of Friendship and Zero Discrimination Day.
