It’s the final pour this weekend for a popular festival in Quinte West.
Hops on the Water Craft Beer Festival happens one last time Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Front Street Farmers’ Market Pavilion in downtown Trenton.
The event features craft breweries and beverage makers from across the region, including Meyers Creek Brewing Company, Prince Eddy’s Brewing Co., MacKinnon Brothers Brewing Co along with local food vendors and live music.
Hops on the Water is ending after a decade-long run that saw it crowned one of the top 100 festivals in Ontario the last three years in a row.
A new event, Quinte West Fusion Fest is set to launch in 2026 that the city says will continue the tradition of bringing people together through food, music and local culture.
The full brewery, vendor and entertainment lineup for Hops on the Water is available at quintewest.ca/hops.
“The Hops Finale is a true toast to the community and the incredible local talent and artisans we’ve had the privilege to showcase over the past decade,” said Colleen Vickers, Special Events Coordinator. “With this year’s lineup, we’re celebrating Hops on the Water with great beer, great food and great memories.”
Festival admission is $10 at the gate, taxes included. Attendees are reminded that this is a cashless event, and advanced tickets will not be available this year. Entry is first-come, first-admitted, and the first 1,500 event-goers will receive a commemorative Hops on the Water mug from past festivals.
Tokens for food and beverage samples are available on-site for $2.50 each, with a maximum purchase of 10 tokens at a time.
