There is another warning to be wary of scams after a Belleville resident lost almost $7,000 to a Bitcoin scheme.
Belleville police say the victim lost the money to a fraudulent investment scheme involving Bitcoin on the messaging platform WhatsApp.
The investigation is ongoing, however, police are reminding the public to only trust reputable sources for investment advice and transactions.
