A federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant is known to frequent the Quinte West area.
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 24-year-old Hamza Ali who is wanted for breaching statutory release.
He is currently serving a three year and five month sentence for offences including assault causing bodily harm x 2, assault, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from peace officer, possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm with ammunition, possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
Ali is described as a black male, 6’3″ tall, weighing 211 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
In addition to Quinte West, he is known to frequent areas in Greater Toronto and Kitchener/Waterloo.
