Thirty young women from the Quinte region are in for quite an experience over the next four days.
The second annual Camp Molly Quinte gets underway Thursday and continues into Sunday.
Camp Molly will bring young ladies, aged 15 to 18, together to learn the basics of firefighting in hopes more women will join the fire service in the future.
Professionals will train them not only in fire suppression, but auto extrication, fire prevention, and search and rescue along with other aspects of the trade.
Camp Molly will take place at the Hastings Prince Edward Training Centre in Trenton with graduation set for Sunday at Belleville Fire Headquarters on Bettes Street.
