Brighton council has allowed three new housing developments to progress to becoming a reality.
Monday, council approved the rezoning of land on Main Street at Rundle Lane that would allow two buildings, one three-storey and the other four-storey, that would feature 41 apartments for seniors with space for commercial enterprises as well.

And council finalized a subdivision agreement for Phase 3 of the Applewood development on an extended Royal Gala Drive. Phase 3 will consist of 13 single family lots, 4 semi-detached units, and 18 townhouses.

And last but not least, council authorized another subdivision agreement for the Butler Creek project which will feature nine single family homes, 16 semi-detached units and 21 four-plexes in a condominium block for a total of 109 residential units.
