Belleville Police say a credit card that was stolen from a car in the east end this week has been used to make some fraudulent purchases.
The card was inside a wallet, stolen from a car on Stanley Street overnight between this past Wednesday August 4 and Thursday August 5.
Police say they do have video footage from the store where the credit card was used and their investigation is continuing.
Authorities are reminding everyone to lock their vehicles and not keep valuables inside, to avoid a similar incident happening again.
