A couple of long term care homes in the area are getting some provincial government support for significant upgrades.
MPP Daryl Kramp announced $982,375 for Hastings Centennial Manor in Bancroft and $48,375 for the John M. Parrott Centre in Napanee, on Friday.
Kramp says the money will be used at both facilities for upgrades to air conditioning and HVAC systems, along with improvements to building automation systems.
The funding is part of a $1.05 billion federal-provincial partnership through the COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream and the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
