The Ontario Government is looking for input on municipal codes of conduct.
The province is launching a 90-day consultation looking at ways to “better ensure that municipalities, councillors and heads of council maintain a safe and respectful workplace.”
The survey will also take feedback on recommendations for holding municipal representatives accountable, including increased fines, suspension, or removal from office when needed.
The survey, which you can access by clicking here, will be open until July 15, 2021 and anyone who lives in the province is able to take part.
