The Quinte West OPP has charged a delivery driver with stunt driving over the weekend.
On April 11, 2021, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Quinte West OPP conducted a traffic stop of a minivan on Wallbridge Road, between Tuckers Avenue and Harrington Road for driving 118 km/hr in a posted 60 km/hr zone.
As a result, a 24-year-old male from Belleville was charged with stunt driving.
Additionally, his license was suspended for seven days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
OPP would like to remind the public that drivers, passengers and other road users can significantly contribute to safe roads by avoiding risks and complying with all traffic laws.
