Fire destroyed a house southeast of Deseronto Sunday.
Greater Napanee firefighters were called out to the 3200 block of County Road 9 near Hay Bay in the late morning.
When they arrived they found an older two-storey wood frame house fully engulfed in flames.
The residents got out of the house safely although at least one person was treated for smoke inhalation.
There’s no word yet on a cause.
