Quinte West OPP are seeking public assistance in finding a person or persons who broke into a business in Quinte West.
Police say between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday, one or more people broke into a business on Trenton Street.
Cigarettes, a backpack and cash were stolen according to police.
The investigation is ongoing and police ask that anyone with information contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- 8477 (TIPS).
