Belleville police have charged a man with assault after an incident in the city’s west end during the noon hour yesterday (Sunday).
Police responded to a residence on Charlotte Street and learned a man had been assaulted.
A short time later a suspect was located.
Charged is 33-year-old Shawn Burris of Belleville.
The victim’s injuries were not serious.
