Hospice Quinte’s Heart and Home Building Campaign has received a boost from a local insurance company.
Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance has gifted $10,000 towards the campaign’s 2019 goal of $9.5 million, to help build a six-bed hospice centre in Quinte West, near Bayside Secondary School.
Hospice Quinte provides support and companionship to terminally ill patients and their families, and once the hospice is built, services there will be provided seven days a week, 24 hours a day, at no cost to patients or their families.
