Participants in cities across Canada will gather along public sidewalks this Sunday for the annual Life Chain.
The demonstration protests abortion.
Organizers say the silent event serves as a peaceful public witness to raise awareness about fetal rights and direct expectant mothers to community support resources.
Reproductive rights advocates contend that efforts to restrict access to abortion threaten essential healthcare decisions and personal autonomy for women.
