Hastings County will be taking part in the Point-in-Time (PiT) Homelessness Enumeration on October 6.
The enumeration will include both sheltered and unsheltered locations, helping to identify the number of people experiencing homelessness on that specific day.
In a release, Hastings County says that information gathered through the 2026 PiT Enumeration will provide insight into the needs, circumstances, and experiences of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our community.
They say the results will be shared publicly and will help guide local planning, inform community responses, and support continued work toward preventing and ending homelessness in Hastings County.
