Following a tragic week in Belleville, local organizers say this year’s Porchfest will move forward as planned to bring neighbours together in music, friendship, and support .
The event will take place in Old East Hill on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m..
Organizers, including the Rotary Club of Belleville, hope the celebration offers a moment of healing, resilience, and fellowship after the horrific violence at the Sons of Jacob Synagogue.
Belleville police and event officials confirm additional emergency and safety plans will be active throughout the neighborhood to ensure a secure environment for all.
