Quinte West OPP say that, with assistance from the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), they have recovered approximately $30,000 worth of stolen property following an ongoing theft investigation.
Over the past several months, Quinte West OPP say they investigated several theft occurrences throughout Trenton and the surrounding area.
Through the course of the investigations, officers were able to link multiple theft incidents and identify a common suspect.
A warrant was executed in Consecon, Prince Edward County.
During the search, approximately $30,000 worth of stolen property, including a side-by-side utility vehicle, an all-terrain vehicle, and a quantity of tools were recovered by police.
Officers also seized ammunition located on the property.
As a result of the investigation, 28-year-old Reian Wallace of Consecon has been charged with:
- Possession of stolen property over $5000 – two counts
- Possession of stolen property under $5000
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Theft of electricity or gas
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
