Belleville Police have confirmed a deceased person was found in the Bay of Quinte on Thursday.
Officers responded at around 10:47 a.m.
Emergency Services attended and recovered the body.
The investigation is continuing under the direction of the Chief Coroner’s Office with assistance from members of the Belleville Police Service Criminal Investigation Division.
