A Belleville man has been arrested after a chair was thrown through the glass door of a local business on Front Street.
Belleville Police Service responded to a report of mischief on Saturday at around 7 a.m.
It was reported that a male had thrown a chair through the glass door of a local business before fleeing the area on foot.
Through investigation, officers identified a suspect and located him nearby shortly thereafter.
As a result of the investigation, Randolph Bienias, a 46-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with:
- Mischief – damages property
- Fail to comply with probation order
He was released on an undertaking with a court date in October.
