Four people have been charged after a traffic stop in Prince Edward County.
Members of the OPP’s East Region Community Street Crime Unit, with assistance from officers from the Prince Edward County Detachment, conducted a traffic stop.
During the investigation, officers seized approximately 61 grams of suspected cocaine, $165 in Canadian currency and items believed to be associated with drug trafficking.
As a result, the following individuals were arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking:
- Marty Cocklin, 50, of Wellington
- Michael Marks, 44, of Picton
- Peter Norton, 58, of Picton
- Jodie Wells, 31, of Picton
The accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Prince Edward County on October 19, 2026.
