The new YMCA Centre for Life is becoming an impressive sight in Belleville’s west end.
In a progress report, the YMCA says both the warm-water therapeutic and the 25-metre pools have passed fill testing meaning their structure is sound.
Ceramic tile in the pool area will be installed as soon as crews close it in and the elevator shaft has been completed.
It’s hoped the new $28 million YMCA will be open sometime in the middle of next year.
