Two new candidates have registered for the 2026 municipal election in Quinte West.
Kate Widdifield and John Desloges have both filed nomination papers to run for Ward 2, Sidney.
Candidates must file their nomination papers with the City Clerk before the close of nominations on Friday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m.
