The stats are in for construction in Quinte West for the month of July.
A total of 53 permits were issued, including for 6 new residential developments, with a combined total value of $7,604,000. This is slightly less permits issued compared to July of the previous year, with 57 permits issued. While the number of new permits issued was slightly down, the value compared to last July was significantly higher. Last July’s permits only held a combined value of $5,812,000.
So far this year, 300 permits have been issued for construction, with a total value of $79,392,000. Slightly more permits had been issued by this time last year, a total of 331. The total value of permits issued by this point in last year was also higher, with a combined value of $94,844,500.
